I gotta say, I'm really impressed with the Developer's Blog at Inside BlackBerry. So, make sure you've added it to your RSS feeds if you haven't already, and give this a read: How-to Set up a Lightning Fast BlackBerry Smartphone Simulator.
Simulators are great for testing, and for seeing what a new OS / device looks like without having to actually procure a device. Sure it isn't as fun, but when your hands are tied ... the price is right.
