Short URLs for RIM KB Articles
We're all familiar with sites that shorten URLs (TinyURL.com - shorten that long URL into a tiny URL, shortURL.com - free short URL redirect with no ads!, bit.ly, a simple url shortener) ...
But what about an easy way to remember RIM Knowledgebase Articles , or at least an easy way to reference them. Is this easy to remember?
http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/microsites/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=KB00075&sliceId=1&docTypeID=DT_SUPPORTISSUE_1_1&dialog ID=97476868&stateId=1%200%2094724439
Instead you can use the simple formula of:
http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB######
where ###### is the KB article number you're referencing. In this case for one of the more comment articles I've seen used you'd just need:
http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB00075
... and if for some reason RIM's site is down check out Featured BlackBerry KB Articles - Port3101.org : Your BES Connection;we try to keep the BES related ones here for easy reference.
